About This Role
Join our automotive engineering team in Barcelona to bridge the gap between concept and road-ready performance. Whether you are a motivated graduate or an experienced professional, you will support OEM and supplier projects focusing on the integration and validation of chassis systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives on technical problem-solving and the evolution of vehicle dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and validation of chassis subsystems including suspension, steering, and braking (ESP/ABS).
- Assist in defining evaluation protocols and performing data analysis on vehicle dynamics.
- Perform root-cause analysis and hardware/software debugging in collaboration with client teams.
- Support the commissioning of functional software and chassis features.
- Manage datasets and application testing using industry-standard tools.
- Generate technical documentation and performance reports.
Requirements
- Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of chassis systems, vehicle dynamics, or mechatronics (academic or internship experience is welcome).
- Interest in working with MATLAB/Simulink or Vector CANape/CANalyzer.
- Analytical mindset with a structured and independent approach to tasks.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Valid Class B driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- German language skills are a plus for interfacing with international OEMs.
- Initial experience within an automotive OEM or supplier environment.
- Familiarity with Python for basic data analysis.
